Live programming of visual elements on Moolin Rouge stage of nationally touring festival - Groovin' The Moo.
Presented nationally by Cattleyard Productions and Triple J, the 2022 tour consisted of shows in rural centres Bendigo, Canberra and Maitland. Due to cancellations of the previous two years due to the COVID pandemic, 2022 was a huge year for the festival which saw audiences in the thousands flock to see a 24-act lineup of both local and international musicans including headliners Peking Duk and Riton (UK), plus well renowned artists such as Hilltop Hoods, Snakehips (UK), Broods (NZ) Spiderbait, Montaigne and more.
Working with a large number of artists across a number of genres meant needing to showcase a dynamic range of digital art styles and presentations - an atypical yet exciting breif.
Mapped provided essential technical support and live programming of complementary visuals for each act using MadMapper.
The back-to-back nature of this tour was particularly challenging from a physical standpoint but Mapped is especialy proud of this project and is grateful for the level of trust and creative control we were awarded by festival organisers.
